Team organization, domains and assignments for your enterprise
Domains
Domains (or departments, groups, specializations) organize the enterprise's competencies. Each user belongs to a domain. Domains are configurable in the enterprise lists.
Users
The company directory. Each account has a name, email, domain affiliation and daily rate. This is where a project team is drawn from.
Project members
A project's members are people — or positions still to fill — assigned to that project with a role (project manager, contributor, observer). Their domain can be overridden at the project level if needed.
Task assignment
Tasks are first assigned to a domain, then to a responsible person among the project members who belong to that domain. This ensures each task is handled by the right specialization.
Staffing requests
When nobody is available in a domain for a project, the project manager can create a staffing request. The company administrator handles it by assigning someone from the directory.
